The Pinewood Lodge is a beautiful Hiawatha log home built on the sandy shores of Michigan's Lake Superior. This Log home, formally known as a bed and breakfast, is now a newly remodeled large capacity vacation rental (your rent the whole facility). This estate lodges up to 34 guests comfortably in 10 bedrooms and 7 1/2 Bathrooms. It has 2 complete kitchens, 2 great rooms, an indoor cedar sauna and a newly added cinema for relaxing after a day of swimming, hiking, kayaking, sightseeing, snow sports, or touring. Its location is approximately 15 short minutes from the Pictured Rocks Boat Tour dock and many tourist attractions such as hiking trails to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Upper Peninsula. We are also located only 3 miles from the Au Train River where you will have one of the greatest kayaking experiences ever. The Lodge is set on several hundred feet of private pristine sand beach with walking paths throughout the property as well as romantic sitting areas. As you walk out the door of the east wing of the lodge, you follow along a full log trellis walkway to a large gazebo that overhangs the lake shore. The interior of the lodge is tastefully decorated in a rustic theme, and includes amenities such as a laundry room, our cedar cinema features an 80" smart TV complete with DVD''s and game inputs for your home gaming systems to name a few. The maximum capacity of the lodge at any given time is 34 people. Events such as weddings and family reunions that may exceed the maximum capacity are prohibited. No Camping, or campers are allowed on the pinewood lodge property under any circumstances.
